Songbird Terraces Now Under Construction
The first sod has been turned at Songbird Terraces, a luxurious 34 townhouse collection in the Brisbane suburb of Oxley. Ferny Grove Central – Construction Update
While construction of Ferny Grove Central is progressing steadily, the project continues to experience significant delays as a result of a number of factors impacting the builder, Broad Constructions. A new milestone has been achieved on the western retail building with 'roof on' now complete. The eastern retail building is now preparing for tenant fitout. Construction on The Fernery apartment building continues, with Level 4 concrete pours completed, and work continuing on the upper levels.

Ferny Grove Central Construction Update
While construction has been progressing, it remains behind the updated construction program, due to delays caused by the inclement weather in February and March, including the impact of Cyclone Alfred, and industrial action. Based on an updated building program, the builder, Broad Construction, is aiming for Practical Completion late in Q2, 2026.

As well as the current removal of asphalt from the old commuter carpark, bulk excavation and earthworks are also under way. Our builder has programmed all retail to be completed in December 2024 with tenants taking possession for fit outs circa February 2025. Completion of Ferny Grove Central and The Fernery is likely to be in Q2, 2025.
